ALS 600
Designed and built for continuous production
The ALS 600 has proven itself in hundreds of applications as an efficient, accurate and reliable labelling system.
For the application of front and back self-adhesive labels, products are transported with precision through the ALS 600.
An optional wrap-around system is also available, this enables the machine to label cylindrical products.
The sturdy stainless base frame provides rigid support for product handling modules, labelling heads and print & apply labelling heads. The components can be accurately adjusted in all directions during operation, ensuring outstanding labelling accuracy.
All control electronics are mounted in a separate stainless steel cabinet with dual On/Off and Emergency switches mounted on both sides of the machine.
To ensure accurate label placement, a product separation wheel, located in front of the label dispenser, maintains consistent product spacing. An aligning unit places elliptical products accurately in position and a top hold conveyor stabilises the product vertically during the entire labelling process.
The flexible modular design of the ALS 600 allows a wide range of labelling heads, hot foil & thermal coders, bar code verifying systems and various sensors to be mounted on the base frame. This provides the ideal configuration for all types of high volume product labelling applications.

State of the art machine control
The machine’s electronic control is mounted in a separate stainless cabinet. Emergency switches are arranged on both sides of the conveyor.
Only integrated components such as F-inverters, DC-motor controls, pilot lamps and switches etc from world class manufacturers are used.
Easy to adjust, making it simple and reliable for long runs
The mechanical settings required can be set in a very convenient and reliable way. By the use of lead screws with digital position indicators, a repeat setting according to different product shapes and sizes can easily be carried out.
The required labelling head positions can be fine tuned accurately, in all directions during operation, thus ensuring outstanding labelling accuracy. The dispensing edges can also be exchanged quickly.

Careful handling of your products
Products are transported or placed on the main conveyor. A product separation wheel spaces the products out, to ensure that each product will be detected for reliable labelling. For elliptical shaped products the ALS 600 can be equipped with the optional alignment unit, this unit adjusts each product in an accurate position. Flat and uniform cylindrical products can be guided and aligned by the product guides. Once the products have been aligned in this way, they are gripped under the hold down conveyor and secured in this position for the entire labelling process.
Reliable application of labels
Once a product is below the hold down conveyor, it is detected by a photocell. This photocell triggers the labelling heads to apply the labels when the product passes the despensing edges. By means of foam rollers the attached labels are sealed down for a perfect finish.
Fitted with labelling heads of your choice
The ALS 600 has a flexible modular design, which allows the installation of all ALS labelling heads, and the print & apply ALX 720.
If different dispensing edges are required for your product there is a quick exchange device. This device allows different kinds of dispensing edges to be fitted to the labelling heads very efficiently.
