As I’m new to the labelling and packaging industry, Empack 2016 was my first experience of going to a packaging exhibition on this scale and I can certainly say it has surpassed all my expectations. Going into my first experience of an exhibition I was expecting a small show with a few stands and maybe the odd company trying to reel you in to sell you one of their own products but from the start I was actually proven wrong.
The size of the show surprised me along with the amount of people who were already at the show as I arrived through the doors at 11:00am with already, our stand busy with people enquiring about our products which our sales team were answering all queries. Almost instantly you could see that each stand’s representative’s/sales personnel were upbeat about the day ahead as they knew this was their stage to really promote their business and their products.
Another surprise at the Empack 2016 show would be seeing well-known brands such as Epson exhibiting and I believe this showed the size of the show as it attracts all sizes of businesses from big to small offering a variety of different products.
Overall, after attending a highly organised Empack 2016 Show, ALS can say we had a very successful show with a lot of product enquiries which we are dealing with currently. We strongly believe that attending the Empack show over the years have boosted our own sales figures and also it has allowed us to attract very valuable customers in a variety of different sectors.
