Zebra have introduced the new Xi4 series of industrial label printers, which they claim to be extremely fast, totally reliable and incredibly robust. Judging by how the the out-going XiIII series performed (which they replace), our first impressions of the new machines confirm this to be true.
Zebra Web Press Release:
“The Zebra Xi series label printers have proven their reliability time and again in the harshest of mission critical applications. With a design based on a rugged steel case and rigid print mechanism the new Xi4 raises the bar once more.
The new Xi4 has models with 356mm (14″) per second print speeds and offers the greatest choice with four print widths (110, 140, 170, 220), three resolutions (200, 300 and 600dpi) and multiple media handling options. The backwards compatible Xi4 is designed so users and system administrators can quickly identify and resolve printer issues with early warning systems that indicate when to service the print head and change ribbons/media, as well as remote printer management/monitoring through ZebraNet Bridge Enterprise. Whether you need to connect wired or wirelessly the Xi4’s 10/100 Ethernet and secure 802.11b/g wireless network connectivity together with printer management applications meets the needs of both small and large networks.”
Designed to endure the harshest industrial environments, ensuring maximum profitability and minimal downtime, the Xi series are aimed primarily for the following industries; Manufacturing, Automotive Industry, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, Heavy industry, Logistics, Retail and Healthcare.
